TERMS

Terms of Service

These terms are the basic rules for using SKATE LOG safely and comfortably.

1. About the Service

SKATE LOG is a web service for recording your skate life through skatepark check-ins, session logs, profiles, Friend LOG, badges, and related features.

Skatepark information is provided as location information for keeping skate logs. Hours, fees, rules, conditions, and facility status may change, so please check official information and local rules before visiting.

2. Eligibility

SKATE LOG may not be used by anyone under 16 years old.

Users who are 16 or older but under 18 must use the service with consent from a parent or guardian. By registering, you are considered to have agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and to have obtained any required guardian consent.

3. Account Registration

To use member features, you must register with an accurate email address and password. You are responsible for managing your account information. Accounts may not be transferred, lent, or shared with others.

If registration information is false, improper, or infringes third-party rights, the operator may reject the registration or suspend or delete the account.

4. Check-ins and Location Information

Check-in is a feature used near registered skateparks. It requires location permission from your browser or device.

Location information is used to determine check-in availability, review unusual check-ins, store logs, and operate the service safely. Please prioritize safety and consideration for others, and avoid using the service while moving or in dangerous places.

5. Visibility and User Content

Users can choose the memo and visibility settings for check-in logs. Public logs may be displayed on timelines, profiles, park pages, and related areas.

Rights to text, photos, park information, check-in memos, and other content posted by users belong to the user or the lawful rights holder. However, the operator may use such content free of charge within the scope necessary for operating, improving, promoting, introducing, displaying within the service, and posting about SKATE LOG on social media or similar channels.

Posting personal information, harmful content, discriminatory expressions, rights-infringing content, content that encourages dangerous acts, or content that violates laws or public order is prohibited.

6. Skateparks and Street Spots

Skateparks are treated as skateable facilities managed by municipalities, companies, organizations, or similar operators. Street spots are not intended for public listing, and local culture, safety, and consideration for neighbors are prioritized.

Registering, posting, or encouraging the use of private property, prohibited skating areas, places likely to cause neighborhood trouble, or places where permission from the manager cannot be confirmed is prohibited.

7. Photo Submissions, Corrections, and Reports

When submitting park photos or correction requests, the sender must have the necessary rights or permission. The operator may review the content and decide whether to publish, correct, hide, or delete it.

If you find incorrect information, inappropriate posts, rights violations, or dangerous use, please contact us through the correction request or report feature.

8. Prohibited Acts

The following are prohibited: legal violations, encouraging dangerous acts, unauthorized use of private property or prohibited skating areas, nuisance behavior, impersonation, unauthorized access, spam, scraping, excessive server load, and acts that interfere with service operation.

Using friend features or social features for stalking, waiting for others, harassment, collecting personal information, forcing contact exchange without consent, solicitation, sales, advertising, or other nuisance behavior is prohibited.

Falsifying location information, improper check-ins, and using automated tools or bots to obtain check-ins, badges, or achievements are prohibited.

9. Suspension and Deletion

If there is a violation of these Terms, a safety issue, improper use, a third-party claim, or a legal necessity, the operator may delete posts, change visibility settings, suspend an account, or delete an account.

10. Withdrawal and Data Deletion

Users may start withdrawal and account deletion through the designated procedure. To avoid accidental deletion, password confirmation and confirmation input are required when deletion is started.

For 30 days after deletion is started, a restoration period is provided. During this period, users can restore the account by logging in with the same email address and password. The account and logs will no longer be shown publicly during the restoration period.

After 30 days, account information and related data will be deleted or anonymized, except for information necessary for legal compliance, security, abuse prevention, inquiry handling, dispute handling, and maintenance operations.

11. Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. The operator does not guarantee continued availability of the service, fitness for a particular purpose, or any specific results from using the service.

The operator works to improve the accuracy of listed information, but does not guarantee that all information is accurate, complete, or up to date. Before using a park, please check official information, local notices, and on-site rules.

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for accidents, injuries, trouble, or damages that occur while using the service.

12. Changes to These Terms

The operator may change these Terms as needed. If there is an important change, notice will be provided on the site. If you use the service after the change, you are considered to have agreed to the updated Terms.

13. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination

The operator may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of SKATE LOG when necessary for maintenance, incident response, legal compliance, security response, or operational reasons.

For important changes or service termination, the operator will provide advance notice on the site where reasonably possible. However, advance notice may not be possible for urgent response or safety reasons.

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for damages caused by changes, suspension, or termination of the service.
